Nobody starts farming because they love pulling weeds in August.

At least we didn't, and I don't.

What started as a garden quickly turned into raised beds, greenhouses, goats, chickens, flowers, and more projects than we probably should have taken on.

Somewhere along the way, we realized this wasn't just about growing food.

It was about helping people reconnect with where their food comes from, supporting local producers, and creating a place where community can grow right alongside the vegetables.

That's what Tanglefoot is today—a working farm, a local market, and a place where good food starts close to home.

Spring has brought new life to the farm—and a few big decisions, too. Our sweet tripod Mini-Nubian goat, Belle, delivered two gorgeous buckskin kids—a strong little buckling and a lovely doeling.
